Immigration to Canada gives individuals and families access to a safe and clean environment, a well-developed public transport system, healthcare, education, and good working conditions.

EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM
Canada Immigration has a fast-track system called Express-Entry for skilled workers. The skills of the applicants are ranked on their specific talents and job prospects through the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) – the applicants at the top of the rankings are offered permanent residency under Canada’s Express Entry Immigration system.

SKILLED WORKER CLASS
Skilled workers are people with skilled professional work experience who are chosen as permanent residents based on their ability to contribute to the Canadian economy. Ideal applicants under the skilled worker class possess employment skills and work experience; applicants with Canadian job offers are favored.

QUEBEC SKILLED WORKER CLASS
Skilled Worker (Professional) applicants who intend to reside in Montreal or in another city or region within the province of Quebec are assessed under a different system than applicants who wish to settle elsewhere in Canada. This is done through what the government of Quebec calls its ‘Regular Skilled Worker Program’, otherwise known as the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP).

PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM
Canada Immigration’s Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) enables Provincial and Territorial governments in Canada to attract immigrants to their region. This program enables individuals with the skills and experience required by the province(s) participating in Canada’s PNP to receive a Provincial Nomination Certificate which expedites the Immigration and Permanent Residency process.

THE FAMILY CLASS
Canadian citizens and permanent residents applying to sponsor their relatives for permanent residence status include relatives such as a spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner 16 years of age or older, an unmarried dependent child under the age of 22, a parent or grandparent, and a brother, sister, nephew, niece, grandchild who is an orphan, unmarried and under 18 years of age.

THE INVESTOR CLASS
Applicants who demonstrate the ability to become economically established in Canada on the basis of their business, management experience and net worth of at least $1,600,000, are considered for permanent residency in Canada. These applicants are required to make an irrevocable, non-interest bearing five-year investment of $800,000 to a government approved investment fund.

THE ENTREPRENEUR CLASS
Applicants who demonstrate the ability to become economically established in Canada on the basis of their business experience and high personal net worth are considered for permanent residency. However, approval depends on the entrepreneur’s investment and involvement in the active management of a qualifying business that contributes to the Canadian economy and creates employment opportunities.

THE SELF EMPLOYED CLASS
Applicants who have relevant experience, the intention and the ability to contribute to Canada’s economy by creating their own employment, by contributing to the cultural, artistic or athletic fields in Canada or by purchasing and/or managing a farm in Canada are considered for permanent residency.
